Brakes are not a repair to put off. Squealing, grinding, a soft or spongy pedal, pulling to one side, or a longer stopping distance are all signs your braking system needs attention — and the earlier it's looked at, the cheaper the fix usually is.
At our Leyton workshop we repair and replace brake pads, discs, calipers and brake fluid on all makes and models. We inspect first, show you what we've found, and quote before we start — so you know exactly what your brakes need and what it costs.

Common Questions
How do I know my brake pads need replacing?
Common signs are squealing or grinding when braking, a warning light, longer stopping distances, or vibration through the pedal. If you notice any of these, have them inspected promptly — worn pads left too long will damage the discs too.
Do I need to replace discs and pads together?
Not always. Pads wear faster than discs, so pads are often replaced on their own — but if the discs are worn below their minimum thickness, scored or warped, replacing both is the safe and economical choice. We measure and show you before recommending either.
How long do brake pads last?
It varies enormously with driving style and conditions — urban stop-start driving wears pads much faster than motorway miles. Rather than guessing by mileage, we check the actual pad thickness during inspection and tell you how much life is left.
Do you repair brakes on vans as well as cars?
Yes — we carry out brake repairs on cars and vans of all makes and models.
